Practical Experience

  • > 20 years in project and programme management positions for major international projects (sales responsibility up to EUR 340 million) in Africa, America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East as well as for internal strategic initiatives
  • > 5 years of disciplinary management responsibilities, including head of customer project management department and PMO
  • > 3 years as Chief Project Officer of a supranational group of companies (more than 14,200 employees, annual turnover of EUR 3 billion
  • > 10 years as trainer and consultant as well as lecturer at the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences for project and process management
  • > 7 years as mentor and assessor for talent and trainee programs

In addition to my entrepreneurial background, I served for 12 years in the Special Operations Division of the German Armed Forces and NATO as a liaison officer. During this time, I was seconded to the BKA (the German equivalent of the American FBI) as well as BBK (Federal Office of Civil Protection & Disaster Assistance), where I gained both intensive and valuable experiences in crisis management, communication techniques and negotiation tactics. These skills, originally developed for high-stakes scenarios such as hostage rescues, have proven equally effective in my coaching sessions, business negotiations and everyday professional interactions.
